The basic calculation
A wagering requirement is often written as a multiplier. If the terms specify a 10× requirement on a 15-unit bonus, the arithmetic is 10 × 15 = 150 units of eligible wagering. The terms may instead apply the multiplier to a deposit or to the combined deposit and bonus, so read the wording carefully.
Eligible wagering matters
Not every game or transaction necessarily contributes equally. Terms may exclude certain games, cap stakes, or count only a percentage of eligible activity. The simple calculation does not capture these details.
It is not a prediction
Completing a wagering requirement does not guarantee a profit, a withdrawal, or that a player will retain any balance. Gambling outcomes are uncertain and money can be lost.
Try the arithmetic carefully
Use the wagering requirement calculator to multiply the eligible amount stated in the terms by the multiplier. If the terms do not clearly say whether the base is the bonus, deposit, or combined amount, do not guess—seek written clarification or decline the promotion.
Questions to answer first
- What exact amount is multiplied?
- Which games count, and at what contribution?
- What is the completion deadline?
- Are there maximum stake or cashout rules?
- What happens if you withdraw or the deadline passes?
Practical rule: if the calculation or the conditions are unclear, decline the promotion. A promotion is optional.
